The Red Mountain Mountain Lions flag football squad scored 24 points and limited the host Boulder Creek Jaguars to 7 in the Mountain Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mountain Lions now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Campo Verde for a non-league test on Thursday, October 23. Red Mountain will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 37-0 league win over Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 8-1.

With the defeat, Boulder Creek drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Liberty (Peoria, AZ) to meet the Lions in a 6A West Valley test on Thursday, October 23. The Lions enter the game with a record of 4-7. Liberty lost 44-0 in their recent non-league game against Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ)
