In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Benet Academy Redwings soccer team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Metea Valley Mustangs.

With the triumph, Benet Academy advances its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Redwings travel to Lockport (Lockport, IL) to clash with the Porters in a non-league test on Friday, October 24. The Porters come into the test with a record of 13-2. Lockport won 3-0 in their recent league test against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL)

The Mustangs now have a 6-14 record.
