Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) and the visiting Highlands Ranch Falcons (Highlands Ranch, CO), observed Douglas County's volleyball team top Highlands Ranch by a count of 3-1.

The Huskies (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 13-0 record. In their last contest, Battle Mountain notched a victory over Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO), 3-2, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Legend Titans (Parker, CO) in a 5A Continental battle, on Thursday, October 23. Highlands Ranch will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Titans go into the battle with a 15-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Ponderosa (Parker, CO).
