Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Braves (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats enter the Southeastern challenge with a 10-11 record. In their last challenge, Great Bridge was beaten by Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Thursday, October 23. Nansemond River will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 4-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA).
