The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) and the host Central Falcons (Tuscaloosa, AL), observed Sipsey Valley's football squad edge Central by a count of 13-12.

The Bears now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Northside for a non-league contest on Friday, October 29. Sipsey Valley will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 42-7 non-league win over Hale County (Moundville, AL). The Rams record now stands at 8-1.

Coming up next, the Falcons encounter the Fairfield Tigers (Fairfield, AL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 28. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 46-6 league win over Cordova (Cordova, AL).
