The Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) football routed the visiting Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), 52-8 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans face the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a 2A West Conference 41 bout, on Friday, October 29. Chase will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the battle with a 2-5 record after their 52-21 non-league loss to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC).

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC) in a 2A West Conference 41 battle, on Friday, October 29. Patton will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Bearcats enter the battle with a 7-1 record after their 59-19 league win over Brevard (Brevard, NC).
