The Pisgah Bears football squad scored 28 points and restricted the visiting East Henderson Eagles to 14 in the Bears league victory on Friday.

The Bears now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Henderson for a 3A West Conference 54 battle on Friday, October 29. Pisgah will face a Knights squad coming off a 22-19 non-league loss to Enka (Enka, NC). The Knights record now stands at 4-5.

Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) in a 3A West Conference 54 contest, on Friday, October 29. East Henderson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 35-14 league win over Tuscola (Waynesville, NC).
