The Erwin Warriors football squad scored 25 points and restricted the host McDowell Titans to 14 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Buncombe for a 3A/4A West Conference 53 battle on Friday, October 29. Erwin will play a Black Hawks squad coming off a 48-6 league loss to Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Black Hawks record now stands at 0-7.

Coming up next, the Titans play the A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) in a 3A/4A West Conference 53 battle, on Friday, October 29. McDowell will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Rockets enter the battle with a 6-3 record after their 56-0 league win over T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC).
