The Gilmer Bobcats football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting West Hall Spartans to 21 in the Bobcats league win on Friday.

The Bobcats now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to White County for a AAA Region 7 battle on Friday, October 29. Gilmer will play a Warriors squad coming off a 49-13 league win over Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.

Coming up next, the Spartans play the Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 29. West Hall will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 0-8 record after their 56-0 league loss to Greenbrier (Evans, GA).
