October 22, 2021: Marion, IA 52302 The Linn-Mar Lions football team (Marion, IA), was beaten 36-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Prairie Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA)
The Hawks (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Bettendorf achieved victory over Davenport North (Davenport, IA), 17-10, in a league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dowling Catholic for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 29. Linn-Mar will meet a Maroons team coming off a 38-14 league win over Waukee (Waukee, IA). The Maroons record now stands at 6-3.
