The Sequoyah Chiefs football team (Canton, GA), was tipped 16-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA)

The Knights (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Gladiators come into the AAAAAA Region 7 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Johns Creek nipped Centennial (Roswell, GA), 37-27, in a league challenge.

The Chiefs now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Riverwood for a AAAAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, October 29. Sequoyah will meet a Raiders team coming off a 40-33 league win over Cambridge (Milton, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-1.
