Maryland High School Football - Archbishop Curley drops to St. Mary's
October 22, 2022: Baltimore, MD 21213 In Saturday's league game, the St. Mary's Saints (Annapolis, MD) football team knocked off the host Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD), by a final score of 22-3.
The Saints (8-0) will now prepare for their game against St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD). The Crusaders come into the MIAA B game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, St. Paul's was dropped by John Carroll (Bel Air, MD), 20-0, in a league game.
The Friars now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverdale Baptist for a non-league game on Friday, October 28. Archbishop Curley will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 31-22 non-league loss to Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-5.
