The Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) volleyball overcame the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Alleghany upgrades its record to 19-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Murphy (Murphy, NC) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 25. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 22-3. Murphy won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC)
