Avalon Lancers (Avalon, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting San Jacinto Tigers (San Jacinto, CA), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Lancers battle the Nordhoff Rangers (Ojai, CA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, October 26. Avalon will attempt to advance on its 24-10 season record. The Rangers come into the match with a 16-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Silverado (Victorville, CA).

With the loss, San Jacinto drops to 20-7 on the campaign.
