Louisiana High School Volleyball - Lafayette over Byrd
October 22, 2022: Shreveport, LA 71104 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) and the host Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA), saw Lafayette's volleyball squad beat Byrd by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Lafayette upgrades its record to 11-11 on the year. The Lions host Sulphur (Sulphur, LA) to play the Golden Tors in a Division I District 2 bout on Tuesday, October 25. The Golden Tors go into the bout with a record of 17-8. Sulphur lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA)
The Yellow Jackets now own a 20-13 record.
