The Cape Hatteras Hurricanes topped the visiting Gates County Red Barons volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Hurricanes now have a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Moore for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 25. Cape Hatteras will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-13.
