Missouri High School Soccer - Lighthouse Christian nudges New Heights Christian Academy
October 22, 2024: Joplin, MO 64801 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Lighthouse Christian Chargers (Springfield, MO) and the host New Heights Christian Academy Cougars (Joplin, MO), saw Lighthouse Christian's soccer squad hold off New Heights Christian Academy by a count of 2-1.
The Chargers (17-5) will now prepare for their battle against Indy Genesis HomeSchool (Greenwood, IN). The Indy Genesis enter the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Indy Genesis HomeSchool tipped Seven Oaks Classical (Ellettsville, IN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Cougars battle the Fort Scott Tigers (Fort Scott, KS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 24. New Heights Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 2-13 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Paola (Paola, KS).
