October 22, 2024: Onekama, MI 49675 The Onekama Portagers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Bear Lake Lakers to 0 in the Portagers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Portagers now have a 27-8 record. They play next when they travel to Shelby for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 29. Onekama will play a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to North Muskegon (North Muskegon, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 21-11.
With the loss, Bear Lake drops to 10-22 on the campaign. The Lakers host St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 31. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 23-13.
