Michigan High School Volleyball - Union overwhelmed by West Michigan Aviation Academy
October 22, 2024: Grand Rapids, MI West Michigan Aviation Academy (Grand Rapids, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Union Red Hawks (Grand Rapids, MI), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, West Michigan Aviation Academy improves its record to 19-6 on the season. The travel to Muskegon Catholic Central (Muskegon, MI) to face the Crusaders in a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 13-22. Muskegon Catholic Central won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Holton (Holton, MI)
The Red Hawks now own a 1-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee for a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. Union will face a Legends squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Wellspring Prep (Grand Rapids, MI). The Legends record now stands at 5-15.
