California High School Football - Serrano sneaks past Apple Valley

The Serrano Diamondbacks football team scored 24 points and held the visiting Apple Valley Sun Devils to 20 in the Diamondbacks league victory on Wednesday.

In their next game, the Diamondbacks face the Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, October 29. Serrano will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Burros enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 36-0 league loss to Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA).

With the defeat, Apple Valley drops to 8-1 on the campaign. The Sun devils travel to Sultana (Hesperia, CA) to face the Sultans in a game on Thursday, October 30. The Sultans enter the game with a record of 0-4. Sultana lost 34-0 in their recent league outing against Serrano (Phelan, CA)
