The crowd at Sunday's non-league bout between the Medford Mustangs (Medford, MA) and the visiting North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA), saw Medford's volleyball squad beat North Reading by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Medford upgrades its record to 13-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Malden Catholic (Malden, MA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 26. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 1-6.

The Hornets now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Pentucket Regional for a Cape Ann bout on Monday, October 24. North Reading will play a squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA). The record now stands at 0-11.
