October 23, 2023: Welsh, LA 70591 The Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA) volleyball overcame the host Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA), 3-0 in Monday's league outing.
With the win, Iowa upgrades its record to 12-26 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA) to face the Saints in a Division III District 2 outing on Wednesday, October 25. The Saints go into the outing with a record of 13-15. St. Louis Catholic won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA)
The Greyhounds now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Abbeville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 24. Welsh will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-10.
