October 23, 2024: North Scituate, RI 02857 The Ponaganset Chieftains soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Providence Country Day Knights to 2 in the Chieftains league victory on Wednesday.
The Chieftains now hold a 8-7 record.
With the loss, Providence Country Day moves to 7-9 on the year. The Knights travel to Toll Gate (Warwick, RI) to play the Titans in a Division 3 bout on Thursday, October 24. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Toll Gate won 7-1 in their recent league bout against Times Squared Academy (Providence, RI)
