Washington High School Volleyball - Bellingham can't hold off Blaine
October 23, 2024: Blaine, WA 98230 In Wednesday's league match, the Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA), by a count of 3-2.
Next up, the Borderites battle the Mount Vernon Bulldogs (Mount Vernon, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match, on Monday, October 28. Blaine will attempt to move on its 3-14 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Mt. Baker (Deming, WA).
The Bayhawks (2-12) will now prepare for their match against Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Trojans enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Meridian held off Anacortes (Anacortes, WA), 3-0, in a league match.
