October 23, 2024: Covington, LA 70433 In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Covington Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Chalmette Owls.
The Lions (15-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Green Wave come into the Division I District 6 challenge with a 16-14 record. In their last challenge, Ponchatoula beat Lutcher (Lutcher, LA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Owls play the St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 24. Chalmette will attempt to upgrade on its 13-17 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA).
