McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Booker T. Washington Hornets (Tulsa, OK), 29-15 in a league match.

The Buffaloes (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Durant (Durant, OK). The Lions come into the 5A District 3 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Durant was beaten by Coweta (Coweta, OK), 23-7, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Hornets confront the Coweta Tigers (Coweta, OK) in a 5A District 3 battle, on Thursday, October 30. Booker T. Washington will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 8-0 record after their 23-7 league win over Durant (Durant, OK).
