The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Canton Eagles (Canton, TX) and the visiting Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX), witnessed Canton's football squad wallop Ferris by a tally of 58-15.

The Eagles (8-0) will now prepare for their bout against Ford (Quinlan, TX). The Panthers go into the 4A-2 Region II District 6 bout with a 7-1 record. In their last bout, Ford was crushed by Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX), 58-21, in a league bout.
