The Godley Wildcats football squad scored 23 points and limited the visiting Dunbar Wildcats to 6 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Venus for a 4A-2 Region I District 4 test on Friday, October 31. Godley will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-0 league loss to Glen Rose (Glen Rose, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-8.

The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX). The Eagles enter the 4A-2 Region I District 4 challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Hillsboro lost by Benbrook (Benbrook, TX), 21-20, in a league challenge.
