October 23, 2025: Pilot Rock, OR 97868 The Elgin Huskies (Elgin, OR) football trounced the host Pilot Rock Rockets (Pilot Rock, OR), 58-12 in Thursday's league outing.
The Huskies now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Echo for a 1A Special District 3 (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 31. Elgin will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 38-36 league win over Cove (Cove, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, Pilot Rock drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Imbler (Imbler, OR) to clash with the Panthers in a 1A Special District 3 (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 31. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 5-3. Imbler won 52-12 in their recent non-league outing against Lyle/Wishram/Klickitat/Glenwood (Lyle, WA)
