Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Frederick Golden Eagles (Frederick, CO), 49-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Monarch improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Silver Creek (Longmont, CO) to play the Raptors in a 4A North 1 battle on Friday, October 31. The Raptors go into the battle with a record of 5-4. Silver Creek won 31-0 in their recent league battle against Poudre (Fort Collins, CO)

With the defeat, Frederick drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host Greeley West (Greeley, CO) to meet the Spartans in a 4A North 1 test on Thursday, October 30. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 3-6. Greeley West lost 59-14 in their recent league test against Loveland (Loveland, CO)
