California High School Football - Klamath Union defeats Modesto Christian

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Klamath Union Pelicans (Klamath Falls, OR) and the host Modesto Christian Crusaders (Modesto, CA), witnessed Klamath Union's football squad topple Modesto Christian by a count of 23-6.

The Pelicans (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Knights go into the 3A Special District 5 battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, North Valley was topped by Cascade Christian (Medford, OR), 55-0, in a league battle.

The Crusaders now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Redwood Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, October 31. Modesto Christian will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 31-7 non-league loss to Livermore (Livermore, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-2.
