The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Monsignor Pace Spartans (Miami, FL) and the host North Miami Beach Chargers (North Miami Beach, FL), witnessed Monsignor Pace's football squad edge North Miami Beach by a tally of 29-28.

The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Goleman (Miami, FL). The Gators go into the non-league bout with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Goleman nudged Taravella (Coral Springs, FL), 56-0, in a league battle.

The Chargers now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Neumann for a non-league battle on Friday, October 31. North Miami Beach will play a Celtics team coming off a 58-0 non-league win over Coral Shores (Tavernier, FL). The Celtics record now stands at 6-3.
