The Morton Panthers walloped the visiting Raymond Rangers football team by a score of 73-28 in Thursday's league test.

The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forest for a 4A Region 6 test on Thursday, October 30. Morton will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 41-3 league win over Richland (Richland, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 7-2.

The Rangers (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mendenhall (Mendenhall, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Mendenhall trounced Richland (Richland, MS), 49-13, in a league outing.
