Oklahoma High School Football - Southmoore thwarted by Piedmont
October 23, 2025: Moore, OK 73160 Piedmont Wildcats (Piedmont, OK) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Southmoore SaberCats (Moore, OK), 41-19 in a league test.
The Wildcats now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Stillwater for a 6A-II District 1 test on Friday, October 31. Piedmont will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 33-20 league win over Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-1.
With the defeat, Southmoore drops to 5-3 on the season. The Sabercats travel to Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK) to face the Pirates in a 6A-II District 1 challenge on Friday, October 31. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Putnam City lost 33-20 in their recent league challenge against Stillwater (Stillwater, OK)
