The Poly Parrots got by the visiting Verdugo Hills Dons football team by a score of 20-14 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Parrots face the Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) in a East Valley challenge, on Thursday, October 30. Poly will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 47-0 league win over Fulton (Van Nuys, CA).

With the defeat, Verdugo Hills drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Dons host Grant (Van Nuys, CA) to meet the Lancers in a East Valley test on Thursday, October 30. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 1-8. Grant lost 29-13 in their recent league test against Monroe (North Hills, CA)
