October 23, 2025: Lumberton, NC 28358 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Scotland Fighting Scots football squad scored a decisive 50-0 triumph over the Lumberton Pirates.
In their next game, the Fighting Scots play the Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 30. Scotland will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Colts go into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 38-6 non-league win over Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC).
The Pirates (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Rams come into the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Purnell Swett was routed by Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC), 48-36, in a non-league test.
