October 23, 2025: Newark, DE 19713 The Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) soccer nipped the host ASPIRA Charter Wolves (Newark, DE), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Golden Knights now hold a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Cape Henlopen for a Henlopen North challenge on Monday, October 27. Sussex Central will battle a Vikings team coming off a 4-1 league win over Dover (Dover, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 11-2.
The Wolves (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE). The Green Knights enter the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Mount Pleasant held off Howard (Wilmington, DE), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
