Connecticut High School Soccer - Sports & Medical Sciences Academy toppled by Bassick
October 23, 2025: Bridgeport, CT 06605 Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers (Hartford, CT), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Bassick moves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Harding (Bridgeport, CT) to clash with the Presidents in a non-league test on Monday, October 27. The Presidents come into the test with a record of 6-7. Harding won 4-1 in their recent non-league outing against Portland (Portland, CT)
