In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Holmes Aces volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Research Triangle Raptors.

The Aces (24-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Camden County (Camden, NC). The Bruins come into the non-league challenge with a 22-5 record. In their last challenge, Camden County beat Manteo (Manteo, NC), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
