The Little Wound Mustangs volleyball team (Kyle, SD), was knocked off 3-1 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Mahpiya Luta Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD)

The Crusaders (7-20) will now prepare for their contest against Todd County (Mission, SD). The Falcons enter the A Region 7 contest with a 15-15 record. In their last contest, Todd County notched a victory over St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Mustangs now own a 13-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crow Creek for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 25. Little Wound will encounter a Chieftains squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Colome (Colome, SD). The Chieftains record now stands at 11-14.
