October 24, 2022: New Laguna, NM 87007 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM) and the visiting Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM), saw Laguna Acoma's volleyball squad beat Gallup by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Laguna Acoma upgrades its record to 17-0 on the year. The Hawks host Cuba (Cuba, NM) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 26. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Cuba lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM)
The Bengals now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Bloomfield for a 4A District 1 bout on Tuesday, October 25. Gallup will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-11.
