October 24, 2023: Jackson, MS 39212 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders (Pearl, MS) and the host Hillcrest Christian Cougars (Jackson, MS), saw Park Place Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off Hillcrest Christian by a tally of 35-28.
With the victory, Park Place Christian Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Riverdale Academy (Coushatta, LA) to confront the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 28. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Riverdale Academy won 47-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Riverfield Academy (Rayville, LA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Benton Academy Raiders (Benton, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 27. Hillcrest Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 71-30 non-league loss to East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS).
