October 24, 2023: Rye, NY 10580 Rye Garnets (Rye, NY) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting John Jay Wolves (Cross River, NY), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Garnets confront the Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 26. Rye will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Dutchmen enter the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY).
The Wolves now possess a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Stuyvesant for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 1. John Jay will confront a Peglegs team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Kennedy (Bronx, NY). The Peglegs record now stands at 8-3.
