Connecticut High School Soccer - O'Brien RVT nudges Classical Magnet
October 24, 2023: Ansonia, CT 06401 O'Brien RVT Condors (Ansonia, CT) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Classical Magnet Gladiators (Hartford, CT), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Condors confront the Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 26. O'Brien RVT will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 4-3 league win over Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT).
The Gladiators now have a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host Bulkeley for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 25. Classical Magnet will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Weaver (Hartford, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.
