October 24, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23323 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA), saw Deep Creek's volleyball squad beat Maury by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Deep Creek upgrades its record to 8-11 on the year.
The Commodores now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Indian River for a non-league test on Thursday, October 26. Maury will confront a Braves team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves record now stands at 12-9.
