October 24, 2023: Derby, CT 06418 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) and the host Derby Red Raiders (Derby, CT), saw Naugatuck's volleyball squad beat Derby by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Naugatuck upgrades its record to 15-4 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 25. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Pomperaug lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Masuk (Monroe, CT)
The Red Raiders now own a 1-18 record. They play next when they host Oxford for a Naugatuck Valley bout on Wednesday, October 25. Derby will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-12.
