The Helix Highlanders football team (La Mesa, CA), dropped 35-21 in Thursday's league bout with the visiting Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA)

With the win, Granite Hills advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Eagles host Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to encounter the Foothillers in a Grossmont - Hills bout on Friday, November 1. The Foothillers go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Grossmont lost 54-20 in their recent non-league bout against Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA)

The Highlanders now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Steele Canyon for a Grossmont - Hills bout on Friday, November 1. Helix will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 57-35 league loss to Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.
