The Chargers now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ascension Episcopal for a 1A District 6 outing on Thursday, October 31. Westminster Christian Academy will clash with a squad coming off a 45-0 league win over Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA). The record now stands at 8-1.
With the defeat, Gueydan drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bears host Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA) to clash with the Eagles in a 1A District 6 outing on Friday, November 1. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 9-0. Vermilion Catholic won 50-21 in their recent non-league outing against Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA)
