October 24, 2024: Wilson, TX 79381 The Klondike Cougars football squad scored 81 points and limited the host Wilson Mustangs to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Southland for a 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 4 (6 Man) test on Friday, November 1. Klondike will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Dawson (Welch, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
With the defeat, Wilson drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Loop (Loop, TX) to meet the Longhorns in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 4 (6 Man) test on Thursday, October 31. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 5-3. Loop lost 56-42 in their recent league test against Sands (Ackerly, TX)
