South Dakota High School Football - McCook Central/Montrose thwarted by Mobridge-Pollock
October 24, 2024: Salem, SD 57058 Mobridge-Pollock Tigers (Mobridge, SD) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars (Salem, SD), 36-18 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Mobridge-Pollock advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Sioux Valley (Volga, SD) to play the Cossacks in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 31. The Cossacks go into the battle with a record of 9-0. Sioux Valley won 47-26 in their recent non-league battle against Deuel (Clear Lake, SD)
The Fighting Cougars now own a 6-3 record.
